This wine is a new and different view of Douro wines. Light red in colour, this wine is fresh, young and cheeky but keeping the complexity of Douro soils. With cherry, raspberry and roses aromas, it’s an easy drinking wine with a velvet long mouth with fresh fruit and spicy aromas. Serve at 17°C temperature.
The grapes are harvested manually in September in boxes of 20 kg. In the cellar before being destemmed, they spend 12 hours on a cooling chamber at 10ºC. The fermentation takes place in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts at 25ºC. During the maturing process the wine is not moved in order to respect the character of the grapes. The grapes come from a parcel in Meda (Douro Superior) at 600 meters facing North on transition of schist soils to granite. Matures in cement vats during 9 months
