Adega da Vara – a family business that produces Consorte white wine from grapes grown on the family property. 🌱
The winery where the wine is made and bottled is included in the same property as the farmhouse on the property, dating back to 1890.
In pressing the grapes, a stick press is used, which also dates back to the origin of the house. 🍇
The enology practiced is the minimalist type.✨
Environmental responsibility is present in the fact that the grapes come from vineyards cared for according to a certified model of integrated production, which implies a very limited use of phytopharmaceutical products, favoring cultural, biotechnical and biological protection.
All this takes place at Lugar de Fundões in Castelo de Paiva.
Bright color, straw with good intensity. Clean, intense and complex aroma, revealing depth. The floral aromas, ripe citrus fruits, well involved by spicy notes stand out. In the mouth it is dry, creamy, balanced acidity, with good structure and a long finish. Gastronomic wine.
