Arribas Wine Company was founded in 2017 in Bemposta, municipality of Mogadouro. Since then, it has sought to produce wines in a sustainable way, in deep respect for the specificities of the land and the vineyard, without losing the touch of innovation that distinguishes them.
Belfo is a white wine produced by Arribas Wine Company. But it's not just any wine. Belfo combines the concern with sustainable production with the desire to support the work of AEPGA in the preservation of the Donkey of Miranda through a partnership.
Miranda's donkey was, in bygone times, used in vintages on the cliffs of the Douro. With the mechanization of agriculture, animal work was replaced by tractors, but the Arribas Wine Company wants, with this partnership, to bring the Donkey of Miranda back into the wine-growing landscape, perpetuating a tradition that despite being an ancestral technique demonstrates its potential for present and future use.
Every time you buy a bottle of Belfo, a percentage will be donated to AEPGA and, in this way, you will be helping to preserve Donkey de Miranda.
